Use of Website
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the site. Prohibited activities include:

Catering Services
Booking and Reservations
When you book our catering services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your event, including date, location, guest count, and menu selections. All bookings are subject to availability.
We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. Last-minute bookings will be accommodated when possible, but are not guaranteed.
Service Area
We primarily serve Richmond and Central Virginia. Services outside this area may be available upon request and are subject to additional fees.
Menu and Pricing
Our menu offerings and prices are subject to change without notice. The final price for your event will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Prices may vary based on guest count, menu selections, event location, and special requests.
Payment Terms
Deposits and Payment
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be outlined in your catering agreement. Full payment is typically due before or on the day of the event, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payment methods. All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment processors.
Late Payments
Failure to make payment by the agreed-upon date may result in cancellation of services or additional late fees.
Cancellations and Refunds
Client Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies are as follows:
- More than 14 days before the event: Full refund of deposit minus a processing fee
- 7 to 14 days before the event: 50% refund of deposit
- Less than 7 days before the event: No refund
Cancellation terms may vary based on the specific agreement and will be outlined in your catering contract.
Urban Taco Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, extreme weather), we will provide a full refund of any payments made or work with you to reschedule your event.
Event Requirements
Venue and Facilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that the event venue has adequate facilities for our catering services, including access to electricity, water, and appropriate setup space. Additional fees may apply if special accommodations are required.
Guest Count
Final guest count must be confirmed at least 72 hours before the event. We will prepare food based on the confirmed number. Additional charges may apply for significant increases in guest count.
Special Requests and Dietary Restrictions
We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests whenever possible. Please inform us of any allergies, dietary needs, or menu modifications at the time of booking.
Liability and Indemnification
Limitation of Liability
Urban Taco is fully licensed, insured, and ServSafe certified. We take every precaution to ensure food safety and quality. However, we are not liable for any illness, injury, or damages resulting from:
- Pre-existing food allergies or sensitivities not disclosed to us in advance
- Improper handling or storage of food by the client or venue staff after delivery
- Acts of God, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our control
Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the catering services in question.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urban Taco, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or breach of these Terms.
Food Safety and Allergen Information
We are committed to food safety and are ServSafe certified. While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen may handle common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish, and soy. If you or your guests have severe allergies, please inform us in advance so we can take appropriate measures.
Force Majeure
Urban Taco shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, severe weather, or other emergencies.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and resolved in the appropriate courts of Richmond, Virginia.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
